Hi everybody!
Long time no seen!
...
Kinda.
Anyways. Last sunday, as a couple of you might have read, I went to the Sunburnt festival in Bondi. Unfortunately there was only one stage and the area was quiet small. But the people were really awesome and the music was amazing! In addition, they had the doors open so we could go to the beach in between too.
And I got sunburnt. At Sunburnt. So not awesome. I did put on 30 + sunscreen every half an hour...
Anyways. Yesterday we booked a trip to Whitsundays and one trip to Fraser Island.
Tip for backpackers: If you are doing trips, book it through a travel agency. They usually give you discounts, some of them can be really great. The package we brought with Fraser and Whitsundays was through Travel bug and we saved 200 dollars. We also got some other deals, like canoeing and stuff. Really cool. You can find them in different corners in every city.
Anyways, gotta go and look for jobs now. I'll upload two videos next time!
Cheers ;)

Merry Christmas!
Hi!
I won't be on the computer for a couple of days, so I wish ya'll a merry Christmas for now! I hope everyone will have an awesome day with delicious food, a lot of presents and a great time with family and friends.
My plans for the weekend are already set. Tomorrow on Christmas, me and a couple of friends will go to Darling Harbour during the day. Later, we'll go to Pizza hut and eat their buffet (pizza + salad + ICE CREAM as much as you can eat) and in the evening we'll go out for a couple of drinks.
On Sunday, we'll all go to Bondi Beach on the "Sunburnt festival"! It is pretty much the only place that has open on Christmas day and the food + transportation is included in the ticket-price which cost 54 dollars.
Anyhow. If anyone wants to reach me, I'll have my phone with me for those who's got my Australian number. Otherwise, I'll update with new pictures and videos after Christmas!
Cheers! <3

VIDEOBLOG: Fireworks in Darling Harbour
Pictures from Katjas Bday
VIDEOBLOG: Party in Sydney!
Hey!
Last Saturday we went out. Had some melted chocolate with fruit and croissants, great music and goon. Yes, goon. Don't know what goon is?
Goon is cheap box wine which everyone drinks here. It comes from the Australian Aboriginal English and means "pillow", since you can blow up the bag in the box once you've emptied it. You can actually get about 4 liter for about 10 dollars. It often contains decay products such as fish, eggs, milk decay etc and the alcohol content is usually pretty high. So it doesn't taste as normal wine. And it's probably the most disgusting wine you'll ever try. So why is everyone buying it? It's cheap. You get drunk pretty fast. And you'll get a pillow.
Anyway, we ended the evening at a club in Sydney. Check the video and pictures below for more ;)

Fast late update!
Hey guys!
I'm really sorry that I haven't been updating in ages. We've just had so much going on lately and no time to go to the office to use the internet (no, we've stiiiiill not gotten internet in our apartment.. kill me... like... now..)
Anyway, here are some updates:
JOBSTATUS: We've got jobs now! Last sunday we worked at a private christmas-party and helped cook smaller dishes, set the table, clean etc. We also got free food and a free ride home - it was really awesome! Since yesterday, monday, we've worked at a warehouse packing stuff. Mostly it's pick packing gift-cards but we've also packed chocolate-boxes (and OH MY GOD I so want to eat it all...). Yesterday we worked for 8 hours, today 8 and a half and tomorrow+thursday we got 12 hour passes.
=
We are going to die.
FOODSTATUS: Yesterday we only ate one small bowl of cereals since we were called in the same morning to the job. Had no food during the entire day. Came home at 22 and realized that we barely had any food. So what did we cook? Spaghetti... With hamburger-cheese... Stole some chili-sauce from our flatmate Ronja... Some eggs... And LOTS of barbeque spice. Yes. It was a really nasty combination. But we were so desperate. I actually thought that the gift-card for RUNESCAPE 15$ looked tasty. That's how far it went.
FLATSTATUS: Still [english profanity]BLOODY[/end of english profanity] annoyed by the BLOODY korean girls. (seriously. They don't clean after themselves, turn on the light at 6 o'clock in the room, eat really smelly food 247 and steal our food in the fridge)
ENTERTAINMENTSTATUS: Last saturday we went to the IMAXcinema at Darling harbour. It has the biggest screen in the world and me, Katja, Ronja, Bjorn and Lars looked at the new Misson impossible movie. It was AMAZING!!! We will return before we leave Sidney and look at the new Happy feet movie in 3D too ;) After the movie we sat down at the harbour and watched the fireworks. I will upload a videoblogg on that one!
So. That's pretty much it. I have so much material (pics and movies) to upload, it's insane. Unfortunately the office is only open from 9 am - 5 pm... And we work during that timespan. Soooo... I can put it all up on friday at the earliest. But here is a quick review. And we've got to go now and buy some food since all we've got left now is rice, pasta... salt...pepper... and... cheese.
Cheers!

GOOGLE PICTURES FTW! Just to give you a small hint to how it looks at Darling harbour during saturdays at 9 pm until I can upload my own pictures.
